2004 UNICO GOLF CLASSIC
On Wednesday, August 15th,
the Pittsfield Chapter of UNICO will be
hosting our 15th Annual Golf
Classic to be held at the Berkshire Hills
Country Club of Pittsfield.
UNICO is a nationwide
volunteer organization similar to Lions,
Kiwanis and Rotary.
UNICO of Pittsfield supports local
charities, scholarships, and community
projects throughout Berkshire County.
Some of the agencies we have
supported in the past include: The Jimmy
Fund, The Pittsfield YMCA, The Boys and
Girls Club, Girl’s Inc., The Boy Scouts,
The Girl Scouts, The Catholic Youth Center,
The Salvation Army, Quinn’s Legacy and The
Kid’s Place.
Along with your generous donations,
our volunteers have donated countless hours
of manpower to assist these charities and
others in meeting their goals.
Our golf
tournament is consistently one of the
largest and most popular events in Berkshire
County.
As always, we expect to completely
fill the field with over 272 golfers. That’s
34 foursomes in the morning and 34 in the
afternoon!
